This was the Official Website of the Huntsvegas Poker League #1, Season #1 coming to you straight from beautiful Huntsville, Alabama. The HPL1 Season1 featured small buy-in Championship No-Limit Hold 'Em tournament format home games along with a 10 game season.

One league member was absent from the 10th HPL #1 tourney. Kirk H. couldn't make it so Chuck H. joined us for the night in Kirk's spot.
The tournament ended after a grueling 4 hours with Mark R. taking the top prize after heads-up play with David C. This first place finish also placed Mark atop the standings for the end of the season.
Congrats to Mark for being HPL1, Season1 Champion!!!!

- Glad to see Steve C. come by and play some cards with us. He got an ugly dose of our tournament though. This tournament was easily, far and away the most boring ever!!!
- We will be starting the HPL1, Season2 up very soon. All league members have 1st dibs on their spots in the league. However, there will be some significant changes. The 2nd season will be run like the HPL2. If you want to know what it will be like head on over there and check it out.

The Buyin is getting bumped up to $35 to make the Championship Event a bit more lucrative.

From start to finish Mark played excellent poker and finished 1st as well. This was a no-brainer.

- Corneal Abrasions: 1, Wes C.
- Wes did an Oscar worthy performance of pulling both triggers on a double barrel when his pocket rockets blew Sean's all-in with QJo out of the water to put Sean out of the tournament with no points. This ties Wes and Sean for the league lead heading into the championship event.
