I could understand a few days or a week to setup a national type live broadcast but 4 months???

Any player, whether professional or amateur, can definitely benefit from knowing a few extra Texas Hold’em tips.  After all, the game isn’t built entirely upon luck and odds like many forms of gambling.  It is instead a game of strategy and probability where, if one really knows their tips, a person can consistently come out with a positive bankroll.

The thing is though you will have to actively seek out these tips in order to study them.  And one of the best resources for finding online poker rooms and texas holdem tips in the world is the Internet. 

All one has to do to find tons of great advice is simply do a search on one of the major search engines and you’ll be whisked away to some great information. 
But if you don’t have Internet access, you can always go to a local card room and ask good players there for tips.  This might be a bit embarrassing at first as they will know you are a new player then.  But as you become friendlier with the players, it will be easier and easier to talk to them.

The bottom line is to just get out there and study as much as you can because, as you’ll find, the more tips that you know the better player you’ll become in the long run.

Freerollin' With RakeBrain

RakeBrain.com is throwing a freeroll called the LeCheese Challenge II tonight for poker bloggers and as such I was invited to participate and am very honored to do so. It is going to be Half Pot Limit Holdem and Half Pot Limit Omaha which should be fun.

While a 1 in 27 shot at a $1000 prize pool is quite spectacular, I am also looking forward to getting to play poker again with TNSpaceman.

Getting Old.

I haven't had much to say since the last post and a good bit of that has to do with the fact that I just haven't been playing online much. Real life is kind of busy right now.

I have been playing live in the home game and things are going pretty good there (except for my last two outings).

I hope to play on the virtual felt again soon but I have been busy at work and tired at night so who knows...

I am definitely going to try the BBT3 again soon but just don't know when yet.
